- Fridericianum
On the last Tuesday of every month, the Fridericianum invites you to art, drinks, and encounters. In January, the focus lies on the colorful, large-format works of Portia Zvavahera. A joint tour of the exhibition is followed by a creative workshop in which participants can get creative themselves.
The group draws inspiration from the artist in terms of both content and technique: by covering, overprinting, and restoring layers of color, they explore the central motifs in Zvavahera’s works—the artistic processing of dreams, memories, and experiences of reality—to translate them into own works of art.
Susanne Stein studied Visual Communication in Kassel and works as freelance graphic designer, artist, and art educator. She is in charge of the creative activities in the Studiowerkstatt that engages with the current Fridericianum exhibitions every Saturday.
The café stays open until 9 pm, the exhibition until 8 pm.
Admission is free. No registration required.
