Closing reception and artist talk with Peter Fischli and Bice Curiger

  • Fridericianum

Friedrichsplatz 18, 34117 Kassel

To mark the end of Peter Fischli’s exhibition, the Fridericianum invites you to a closing reception featuring the artist and Swiss art historian Bice Curiger. Together, Fischli and Curiger will discuss the works presented in Kassel, exploring their development, their formal and conceptual connections, and key questions arising from Fischli’s artistic practice. The discussion will then open up to the audience, who will have the opportunity to ask the artist questions and engage with him about the exhibition and his work.

Bice Curiger contributed the text for the exhibition booklet and has been closely familiar with Peter Fischli’s work for many years. As an art historian, curator, and author, she has organized numerous exhibitions and publications. She was a co-founder and editor-in-chief of the art magazine Parkett, directed the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011, and served as a curator at the Kunsthaus Zürich from 1992 to 2012. From 2012 to 2025, she was director of the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles.

Admission to the event is included in the entrance fee.
No registration is required.
