The new Kunstzwerge workshop series is aimed at the (almost) youngest group of visitors—children aged 2.5 to 5. In the November edition, the participants explore a sculpture by Charles Ray to discover whether clothing can have anything to do with emotions. Afterward, they create their very own button art pieces. These will then adorn a coat that everyone gets to try on.
Each workshop combines engagement with the Kunsthalle’s current exhibitions with creative play and activities specifically designed to foster children’s sensory perception and fine motor skills.
Ideal age: ages 2.5 to 5
Admission is free. Registration via education@fridericianum.org
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
