Performance: Xoco Está Aburrido (Xoco Is Bored)

Xoco, a fluffy fellow with big round eyes, crops up again and again in Mario García Torres’ exhibition. As you observe him in the Fridericianum, one thing quickly becomes clear: Xoco loves being bored. On the performance dates, you can meet Xoco in the Kunsthalle and watch him plod listlessly through the rooms, lean lazily against the walls, or lie on the floor in his own little world. Maybe by observing him, you can find answers to life’s fundamental questions.
