Guided Tour: Art in your ears

  • Fridericianum

Friedrichsplatz 18, 34117 Kassel

A tour of the exhibition The Pause That Dreams Against Erasure for blind and sighted people.

Can you hear art? The Fridericianum and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof invite you to explore this question and experience the exhibition The Pause That Dreams Against Erasure by American photographer Catherine Opie through hearing alone. Using image descriptions of selected works, what is usually only perceptible through sight becomes audible and thus tangible in a different way.

The image descriptions are developed by TOWER Fernassistenz based on content provided by the Fridericianum art education team.

Meeting point: Foyer Fridericianum

The tour is free of charge and sponsored by Aktion Mensch. No registration is required. Language: German

The venue is wheelchair accessible. Assistance dogs are allowed.
