Workshop for adults: With best wishes from the Fridericianum

  • Fridericianum

Friedrichsplatz 18, 34117 Kassel

In collaboration with the artist, illustrator and gallery owner Janosch Feiertag, the Fridericianum invites people aged 16 and over to a creative afternoon. Taking Catherine Opie’s works as their starting point, participants will create their own visual worlds exploring the themes of portraiture, community and landscape. Using collage and drawing, they will produce designs which will be turned into personalised postcards using the Risograph printing process – a personal greeting from the exhibition.

Janosch Feiertag trained as a theater painter and studied art and visual communication in Kassel and Krakow. In 2017, while still a student, he founded Galerie Feiertag in Kassel. There, he offers local and international artists an experimentation platform for unconventional exhibition concepts and engaging with art enthusiasts and people from the neighborhood. Feiertag lives and works as an illustrator and artist in Kassel.

Target audience: Adults (aged 16 and up)

Participation fee: 10 Euro
