Workshop: Art dwarfs—First steps in art

11–12 am (in German)
1.30–2.30 pm (in Russian)

The free workshop series Art dwarfs for the (almost) youngest group of visitors—children aged 2.5 to 5—opens with the course First steps in art. Together with the art education team, the participants explore the Fridericianum halls. Afterward, they design cloth bags to commemorate their first visit to the art museum and serve as a lasting reminder of this special day for years to come.

Each workshop combines engagement with the Kunsthalle’s current exhibitions with creative play and activities specifically designed to foster children’s sensory perception and fine motor skills.

Ideal age: ages 2.5 to 5
Admission is free. Registration via education@fridericianum.org
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
