documenta and Museum Fridericianum gGmbH is a nonprofit corporation owned by the City of Kassel and the State of Hesse. Its responsibilities include the documenta exhibition, which takes place every five years, the Fridericianum, the documenta archive, and the documenta Halle.
To support our executive management, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Executive Assistant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
The position is temporary through December 31, 2027 —in part to cover a sick leave absence—and also offers the opportunity to grow professionally within our institution and take on new areas of responsibility.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supporting management in day-to-day operational and organizational tasks
- Coordinating and organizing appointments, meetings, and events
- Preparing for and following up on meetings and appointments
- Creating, formatting, and editing documents, presentations, and reports
- Coordinating and communicating with internal and external contacts
Your Profile:
- Completed business training or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in an assistant, secretarial, or comparable administrative role is desirable
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and discretion
- Confident and professional demeanor
- Flexibility, dedication, and a passion for a varied role
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Your weekly work schedule is 40 hours. The job is based in Kassel.
