- Fridericianum
By taking part in “Culture on Call”, the Fridericianum addresses people who are unable to participate in cultural experiences in person, for example due to visual impairment, limited mobility, or social barriers. Even those who feel uncomfortable in groups or cannot afford a visit now have inclusive access via telephone.
Here’s how it works:
A Fridericianum art educator invites participants on a guided tour of Portia Zvavahera’s exhibition by telephone and describes visual contents along the way. Registration is possible via www.beianrufkultur.de as well as by phone under 040 209 404 36. Participation is free of charge. After receiving the access information, the participants comfortably dial in from home on the day of the event. The one-hour tour is being hostet by a moderator while the art educator guides the group through the exhibition on site. During the tour, the participants’ speakers are turned off. The phone line will be opened for questions and exchange occasionally.
