That means documenta is turning 70 years old.
So far, documenta has been staged 15 times.
In 2027, documenta 16 will be open.

documenta is a special art exhibition.
During the exhibition, many works of art are shown
in different places within the city.
Works of art are, for example:

  • paintings or photographs,

  • statues made of stone or wood

  • or special events.

An art professor is a person
who knows very much about art.
They usually work at an art college.
That is a special school
where people can learn more about art.

So far, documenta has been staged 15 times.

In 2027, documenta 16 will be open.
