Symposium documenta 1997 – 2017: erweiterte Denkkollektive / expanding thought-collectives

Attended by over 600 visitors, the two-day symposium hosted by documenta Guest Professor Dorothea von Hantelmann on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the documenta came to a successful conclusion. For the first time ever, the Artistic Directors of documenta 10 through 13 spoke with guests about their documenta exhibitions. Adam Szymczyk, the Artistic Director of documenta 14, concluded the symposium with a performance by the Iraqi artist Hiwa K.
