documenta and Museum Fridericianum gGmbH is a nonprofit corporation owned by the City of Kassel and the State of Hesse. It is responsible for the documenta exhibition, which takes place every five years, the Fridericianum, the documenta archive, and the documenta Halle.

As an internationally renowned exhibition of contemporary art, documenta stands for discourse, diversity, and social relevance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and coordinating the Fridericianum’s central office
  • Administrative support
  • Planning and arranging travel
  • Preparing schedules, lists, and tables
  • Research and assistance with the preparation and follow-up of exhibitions and events

Your Profile:

  • Completed vocational training in business administration/secretarial work or training in office management, along with professional experience in a similar position
  • Interest in working as part of a growing team
  • An affinity for and knowledge of contemporary art and project/time management
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, as well as proficiency in standard MS Office programs
  • Willingness to go the extra mile

This is a full-time, fixed-term position through December 31, 2027, with a 40-hour workweek. The position is based in Kassel.
